Industrial style kitchens are renowned for their spacious layout and functionality. In this kitchen, the floor has been left uncovered, the cement floor receiving only a glossy finish. A vertical garden and wooden cabinet warm up the raw industrial elements such as the uncovered pipes. The matte black kitchen island is an elegant addition, the bright red fittings add a splash of color.
The kitchen adds drama with a strong presence of black and white. With one wall in full black and the other almost in full white, contrasts are created without blocking off the room. Similar grey partition shading complements a white dining table and chairs, artfully constructed in industrial mesh. A painted portrait and two curved, thin lights bring kitchen and dining areas together in harmony.
This Berlin open floor plan apartment in white was dressed up with low profile charcoal seating that features geometric pattern pillows. Those patterns were continued in the rug that anchors and defines the living area. The circular element in the coffee table was imitated in on the walls with cute cat art, as well as in the lighting fixtures. The barstools picked up the grey again and added a light maple finish in their legs that we see again in the top drawer of the chest. Tying the rooms together is the fabulous light grey finished wood floors.
