Her fabulous mother picked up the great nose and chin at a local movie theater shop and got them attached with nature gum and all set when I appeared. Which is a good thing, because it finished up taking for as long to paint as I thought double! The reason was mainly due to the Kryolan UV Dayglow paint I had been using for the green base. Don’t get me wrong of course, I’d highly recommend using the fluorescent green for the wicked witch!
It was such a good, bright green. But, being it goes on very thin and transparent (unlike the typical Kryolan Aquacolor basic colors), it takes a few dense layers with dry time between each someone to get good coverage. I wish I had developed a clean “before” shot but above you can view it in progress at the beginning.

I started by painting the nose and chin, knowing that the paint would try dried out and coating on plastic material vs epidermis much longer. To have the dark wrinkles and creases in the correct places, I put her do her most wicked witchy face and decorated in her natural creases then.
The black is Wolfe black, the blackest black out there, which proved helpful ideal for the eyebrows! I used a mix of the UV Dayglow green with some of my other darker greens for shading and sizing. Once I was done with the wet makeup, I dusted it with some Kryolan clear setting powder, combined all the greens with a dried out green StarBlend then.
This really helped to steady and blend the various greens together. It offered the whole face a nice also, soft end. I used some of Mehron’s INtense Pro Pressed Pigment Powders for the green that proceeded to go up to and around her eye, and some bright green for highlights. To complete her off I did a little black eyeliner plus some scarlet lipstick, that was requested by the institution play’s organizers.
Here are a couple photos that her mom took at the institution after she was all in costume! All in all I believe she turned out pretty cool! I wish I possibly could have gone with to watch the play! Tonight I’m off to the 7th Annual “Mendota Lights” Christmas celebration at the Village at Mendota Heights with the friendly and gifted miss Liz!
So contaminants are permanently changing, and they lack any inherent existence independent of the work of observation. Consequently, everything composed of particles is also impermanent and constantly changing, and no static, stable basis for its existence are available. Process-like behavior isn’t only restricted to fundamental particles such as electrons and protons, but also applies to their combinations. Some surprisingly chunky objects such as bucky balls show formation of an interference pattern whenever a they go through a double slit. Essentialism is the fact that, for just about any specific entity (such as an pet, a mixed group, a physical object, a product), there is a defining substance within them that makes those things, organizations and chemicals what they are.
For the best part of two thousand years essentialism kept sway within the Western mind, by means of Platonic essences first of all, then as the unchanging types of the Bible, so that as nineteenth century atomic substantialism finally. Essentialism underpins substantialism, and does not have any accepted place in process viewpoint. Essentialism has been undermined by the same scientific discoveries that undermined substantialism. The first breaks in the essentialist edifice are apparent, in retrospect, with Newton’s discovery of the laws and regulations of movement. Before Newton, the heavenly systems wandered round the firmament according to their different essential natures as decreed by the ‘Unmoved Mover’. After Newton, the celebrities, planets, moons, asteroids and comets moved according to the same mathematical relationships.
Before Newton, stars, planets, moons, comets and asteroids were distinct entities. After Newton there was a continuity in size and composition from the littlest ‘grain of sand shooting star’ through meteorites, asteroids, comets, moons, miniplanets, small planets, gas giants, brown dwarfs and all the various sizes of stars. Before Newton there was the idea of the ‘Unmoved Mover’.
After Newton every action acquired an equal and opposite reaction. As a consequence anything that produced a change was itself transformed. ALL functioning things must be impermanent Therefore. These observations were never taken to their logical conclusion by European philosophers in Newton’s day, because heresy still fascinated severe abuse in most Europe possibly. Chemistry provided a bastion for essentialism up to the late nineteenth century.
