Moisture is vital for clean and soft epidermis but sometimes especially in winters your skin is not able to retain the moisture resulting in dry skin. Dry skin is also known as xerosis. In sebum level in dry skin is very low which makes it sensitive and prone to various skin problems.

Dry skin gives a boring and flaky look especially on the cheeks and around the eyes. It needs care as dry pores and skin tends for damaged veins, flakiness, dry areas and sore epidermis. After every clean skin provides tight feeling. Wind, dried out weather and extremes of temperatures worsen the problem. People who have dry skin have a history of premature wrinkles. It is a short-term and not a serious problem but if not treated properly it may become problematic.
